Salem is an interactive story. The narration plays and the text appears as you go; when the story reaches a decision, tap the choice you want to make. Your choices branch the night and lead toward one of eighteen endings. There's nothing to master — just listen, decide, and live with it.

The first act is free to play in full. A single one-time purchase — "Unlock the Full Story" — opens the rest of the branching story and all eighteen endings. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and it's yours forever.

Yes. Open Settings and turn off "Narrate the story." With narration off, the full text and your choices appear immediately instead of being read aloud word by word. You can also turn the background music on or off in the same place.

Yes — the complete story is written and narrated in both English and Spanish. Salem follows your device language automatically. To switch, change your iPhone's language in the Settings app, or tap Language inside Salem's settings to jump there.

Eighteen. They range from a quiet escape to a confession, a betrayal, or the gallows — each one earned by the choices you made to reach it. Salem remembers which endings you've discovered, so you can see how many remain.

Absolutely — that's the point. After reaching an ending you can play again and make different choices to see where they lead. Your collection of discovered endings carries over between playthroughs.

If you've unlocked the full story and need to restore it — for example, on a new device — open Settings and tap "Restore previous purchase." Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

Yes. Salem syncs your progress and discovered endings via iCloud automatically. Just make sure your devices are signed into the same Apple ID with iCloud enabled. The most recent progress wins, so pick up right where you left off.

Yes. The entire story, narration, and music are built into the app — no internet connection is required to play. When you're back online, your progress syncs to iCloud.

No. Salem does not collect any personal data. There are no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no accounts. Your progress lives on your device and optionally syncs via iCloud. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
